Instructions for the game of the Escoba (Broom) of the 15

Objective of the game
Wins the game, the first player that reaches 15 points. The score is calculated based on the cards that each player has accumulated in his scoring pile.

Elements of the game

• A deck of Spanish cards: 40 cards, composed by 4 suits of 10 cards each one (1 to 7, a Valet, a Horse and a King)
• 2 scoring pile (one for each player)
• 2 Hands (one for each player. Both hands have 3 cards that should be used during each round).
• The table: Contains some cards faced up that are used in combination with hands card to rise up.

How are cards accumulated?
Cards can be added to the scoring pile (or raised) choosing some cards from the table and one from own hand. They must sum 15.
For this it is necessary to consider that the Valet (Sota in Spanish) values 8, the Horse 9, the King 10, and the rest its value.

For example, if at the table we have a 3 and a 2, and the player have a king, it is possible to raised these three letters, since 3 + 2 + king (10) = 15

For this game, to raise, first of all it's necessary to mark chosen cards of the table (clicking on cards) and then choose the card in the own hand.

How to make an Escoba (a broom)?
When a player raises all the cards of the table (that is to say, the table is empty), he makes a Escoba. When the score is calculated, the Escobas are very important.

How is the score calculated?
Once the deck is empty, the score of each player is calculated. Players score points based on the following categories:

• Most Cards : The player with the most cards in their score pile gets one point
• Most Coins : The player with the most oro (coins) gets one point
• Most Sevens : The player with the most sevens gets one point
• Seven of Coins : The player with the seven of coins gets one point
• Escobas (Brooms): Players also get one additional point for each Escoba they have obtained.

How is Most Sevens calculated?In order to calculate the points obtained by Most Sevens it is necessary to find out how many sevens have each player in their scoring pile.

For example, if some player has 3 of the four sevens, he wins the seventy. If both players have 2 sevens, wins the seventy the player with more six's, and so on…
